28th March 2009 , a date that I will always remember in my life. A very important day in my life and I will never forget this, never. What is so special about this day? It is the announce of result of my Diploma in Hotel Management. I was not the only one that was long to heat the results but also the entire batch DH27. Even our lecturers were eager to hear about their students achivement.
I was early to college that day. We were supposed to be at college at 10am and I was early there. Met Ee Von and ate breakfast togather. Somehow, I dont feel so good as well, I was very nervous and I want to know my results asap. We were at the chinese shop there, and then came Jay, Bryan, Ryan, Jeff and Faiz. Later on, we head down to the Multi Purpose Hall where the ceremony will be held. Everyone gathered at the hall and waited patiently for the announcement of results.
It went by BTH F&B and then only BTH RD which . WHhen the F&B students got their results, it was my turn. All the RD students were lining up and waiting anxiously to get our resluts. I was there with Ee Von and Nana,that moment when i was standing there waiting for my name to be called was a horrifying moment. Tere were actaully 4 category and they start off with thte lowest vategory. Everyone hope that their name wont be called because everyone is aiming for the highest mention which is Very Honourable Pass with Congratulations From Jury. It was like everyone's dream to get that. I still can remember everyone shouting and screaming when their names were not called when the category was skipped. The 3rd category has passed, my heart was still pounding and I was trembling because is either 2nd mention or 1st mention. I was nervous and scared , for I wana get 1st mention, But, i dare not put too much hope on it and just eagerly waited for my name to be called. When the moment that the Director Of Taylor's announce "The candidates that got Very Honourable Pass with Congratulations From Jury" aka First Class Honours, I jumped and hugged Ee Von. I was so happy that tears nearly came our from me. I cant believe it, that i managed to get such results and I really thank GOD for it. When my name was called, I went up and claimed my certificate and went back to my sits. When I was at my sit, I still cant believe that I got 1st mention. I looked at my cert and tear flow down my eyes. It was one of the happiness moment of my life.
